The recent Bihar elections reached a historic voter turnout of 68.76%, exceeding records from prior phases. A variety of exit polls suggest a positive outlook for the NDA, with agencies predicting between 140 to 167 seats. However, some predictions are still pending, with major polling organizations set to release their findings soon. The public awaits confirmation of these projections as they may influence the future political landscape in Bihar.

The state of Bihar recently completed its second and final phase of polling, achieving a remarkable voter turnout of 68.76%, marking the highest turnout in the state’s electoral history. This figure surpasses the previous record of 65.08% established during the first phase of voting. The significant participation reflects the electorate's engagement and interest in the electoral process. Polling agencies have predicted varied outcomes for the contested seats in the Bihar Assembly elections. Notably, pollsters such as Matrize, P-Marq, and Dainik Bhaskar indicated a favorable outcome for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), forecasting it to secure at least 140 seats. In contrast, organizations like People's Pulse and JVC suggested a strong support for the BJP-JD(U) alliance. Several exit polls were released subsequent to the close of the polls, but others remain pending. Specifically, Axis My India, Today's Chanakya, and C-Voter have yet to announce their findings, which are anticipated on November 12, providing further insights into the election dynamics. Dainik Bhaskar's poll estimates indicate that the NDA could secure between 145 to 160 seats, while projecting the Mahagathbandhan, or Grand Alliance, to attain 73 to 91 seats. Furthermore, the Matrize poll suggests NDA winning between 147 and 167 seats and allocating 70 to 90 seats for the Mahagathbandhan. The exit polls employed by polling entities assess voter sentiment through surveys conducted right after individuals cast their votes, yet the historical performance of exit polls indicates they may not always predict electoral outcomes accurately. As Bihar awaits the final results, the forthcoming predictions will play a crucial role in shaping public and political understanding of the election's direction.
